This reduces the amount of vibration and noise reaching the stylus for improved audio performance. | | --- | --- | | **Carbon Fiber Tonearm** | Lightweight tonearm reduces resonance and improves groove tracking. It features VTA adjustment for optimal cartridge calibration. | | **Anti-skate by weight** | Ensures consistent tracking force, lightweight, rigid, improved vibration damping and resonance control. | | **AT-VM95ML Cartridge** | The AT-VM95ML stylus offers a unique multilevel shape that distributes contact pressure more uniformly for precise groove tracing, reducing distortion and enhancing detail, while providing excellent channel separation. | | **Round Belt** | Minimal contact design reduces vibration. | | **78 RPM speed** | Allows playback of 78 RPM records, a 78 RPM specific stylus is strongly recommended to prevent wear on the records and stylus. | **Which cartridge is included with the RT87?** The RT87 offers a choice at the time of purchase of the Ortofon 2M Blue, or the Audio-Technica AT-VM95ML cartridge, which also allows you to upgrade to any AT-VM95 compatible stylus. **Are additional parts such as headshells available separately?** Yes, we offer headshells, replacement belts and power supplies, as well as different counterweights to allow for the use of heavier or lighter cartridges.
